Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Macomb, Illinois. You will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and collaborate with radiologists to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and image accuracy.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostics.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other CT Tech duties as assigned.
