Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Chicago, IL. The CT Tech operates CT scanners, prepares patients, ensures imaging accuracy, and collaborates with radiologists to deliver diagnostic services.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high‑quality images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the CT Tech practice.
