Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1-2 years of experience for a role in a hospital setting requiring ARRT CT and ARRT R certification.

Details

• CT Tech role within Radiology/Cardiology department


• Adult acute care and outpatient settings, including Emergency Department and ICU


• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday through Sunday


• Performs CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, and chest with and without contrast


• Special procedures include CTA, CT arthrography, myelography, and transplant studies


• Uses PACS and Toshiba CT equipment


• May float between sister facilities within the region

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of CT Technologist experience required


• ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required


• BLS certification required


• Fluoro Permit preferred


• Compact state license required and must be in hand at time of consideration


• License required if applicable


• Epic EMR experience required


• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture required


• Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) required


• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Level I/II Trauma experience preferred


• 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required

Additional Information

• Responsible for performing CT imaging procedures across a variety of clinical settings including trauma and vascular studies


• Required to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)


• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer


• Candidates must disclose any prior employment history with Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem roles


• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius


• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
