Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level III Trauma Center's CT department serving the Emergency Department, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT CT certification.

Details

• CT department serving the Emergency Department at a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• No floating between units required
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Scrubs of any color accepted across all units
• No parking fees

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications required
• BLS certification required
• WA state license or compact license required in hand at time of submission; license required if applicable
• Proficiency in image display and post-processing including multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest (ROI) measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis imaging including contrast studies and colorectal studies
• Experience in head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging
• Experience with vascular chest imaging (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
• Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE and radiation safety
• Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture
• Teaching hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
• Former Providence employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including location and dates
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
