Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment in a Level 3 trauma acute care setting, requiring 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Acute care Level 3 trauma facility within the Diagnostic Radiology department
• Works with both inpatient and outpatient populations across OR and ER settings
• Uses Cerner EMR and Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 CT equipment
• 10-hour night shifts on an every-other-weekend (EOW) schedule
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Floor-specific orientation consists of 1-2 shifts in the department
• On-call requirements vary and will be discussed during the interview process
• In-house radiologist coverage until 6 PM, then on-call

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers will be considered
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Fluoroscopy certification required through the state of CA
• Rad Tech II applicants must have CT experience
• License required if applicable
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility

• Teal scrub color required, unless working in the OR where scrubs are provided
• Weekend and holiday requirements will be provided once candidates are submitted into the interview queue
