American Traveler is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for an assignment in Greensboro, North Carolina. The position rotates through outpatient, inpatient, ED and ICU settings with 36 hours per week, evenings (2:00 PM–11:30 PM) for 13 weeks, starting 10/12/2026.

The ideal candidate has ARRT CT and BLS, at least 1 year CT experience, proficiency with PACS and contrast administration, and an active license where applicable. Travel compensation includes a tax-free stipend and comprehensive benefits.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience and required proficiency in PACS and contrast administration.

Details

• Rotates through outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU settings
• Cares for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, with neonatal and infant experience preferred
• Evening shift, 4x9 hours, 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Thursday through Sunday
• May float to any campus within the health system as needed
• Utilizes PACS and contrast administration equipment
• Performs abdomen and pelvis CT scans with and without contrast

Requirements

• ARRT CT and BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations required
• NICU and PICU experience preferred
• Experience with biopsies and IV starts preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active license required if applicable
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Current driver's license required for address verification
• No open background check cases permitted

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
• Level I Trauma and pediatric acute care experience preferred
• Experience with special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, colonography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and vascular CTA preferred
• Spine and musculoskeletal imaging experience including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma
• Chest imaging with and without contrast
• Head and neck imaging with and without contrast
• Cardiac CT and calcium scoring experience preferred
• GE and Siemens equipment experience preferred
