Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. You will perform diagnostic imaging in an adult acute care setting within a Level I trauma center, including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck CT with and without contrast.

Requirements include minimum 2 years CT experience, ARRT CT and ARRT Radiography certifications, BLS, and experience with EPIC EMR and multi-vendor CT equipment (Siemens preferred).

• 1+ years of EPIC EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT imaging across abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine and head/neck.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast media as part of daily duties.
• Operate multi-vendor CT equipment and PACS within a Level I trauma center.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control; adhere to PPE protocols.
• Collaborate with care teams and may float to other units as needed.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with cardiac, stroke, and trauma experience and required Siemens equipment proficiency for a Level I trauma center.

Details

• Adult acute care and outpatient CT setting within a Level I trauma center
• 3x12-hour night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Performs abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and head/neck CT imaging with and without contrast
• Uses GE, Philips, Toshiba, and Siemens CT equipment along with PACS
• EPIC EMR experience required, minimum 1 year
• May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs, within scope of competency

• Orientation occurs weekly and includes annual compliance training requirements
• First-time travelers are not considered for this role
