Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for weekend night shifts, requiring ARRT (R)(CT), BLS, and a SC Radiology license (license required if applicable).

• Weekend night shifts only, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (2x12-hour shifts)
• No on-call requirement
• Covers CT and X-ray for ED and inpatient populations, with two techs staffed per shift
• Involves transporting patients to and from the ED
• Radiologists are staffed off-site and available for consults via PerfectServe secure paging
• Facility is a Primary Stroke Center
• Uses Epic Radiant for radiology documentation
• May float to X-ray as needed
• Hunter Green scrub color required

Requirements

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• BLS certification required
• SC Radiology license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered CT and X-ray technologist
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in abdomen and pelvis imaging, including studies with and without contrast
• Experience with head, neck, spine, chest, and vascular imaging preferred
• Proficiency in contrast media preparation and administration
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Ability to start peripheral IVs preferred
• Experience with GE and Siemens equipment preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
• Staff may be required to float to other qualified units or campuses per facility policy
• Weekly orientation held every Monday, along with annual compliance training
• Supports both CT and X-ray operations for ED and inpatient care during night shifts
• Works alongside off-site radiologists for real-time consultation and image review
