Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Tech for a 13‑week travel assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and collaborate with radiologists to obtain high‑quality images while adhering to safety protocols.

Required qualifications include one year of CT experience, a valid radiology license, and current BLS. Preferred ARRT certification. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and 24/7 recruiter support.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients.
Set appropriate technical parameters to clearly demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
Perform other duties within CT Tech scope.
