Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Oxford, North Carolina. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and work with radiologists to obtain high-quality images while following safety protocols.

Required include one year of CT experience, a valid radiology license, and current BLS certification; ARRT certification preferred. Travel benefits and support are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Preferred ARRT Certification (optional)

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes
• Prepare patients for procedures and position them appropriately
• Set technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment
• Document patient information and imaging details in the hospital system
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned within CT Tech scope
