Job summary

The CT Tech role with Fusion Medical Staffing is a 13-week travel assignment based in Johns Island, South Carolina. You will operate CT scanners, prep patients, ensure imaging safety, and work closely with radiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

Required are one year of CT experience, a valid Radiology license, and current BLS. Preferred ARRT certification and licensure/CEU support are also noted. Benefits include travel pay and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties within the CT Tech scope.
