Job summary

Newsandtribune is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel assignment on a Labor and Delivery unit. The role requires CST L&D experience and active NBSTA and DORA credentials, with BLS as a must.

You will operate on a 13-week schedule, nights 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, with 1:1 to 1:2 patient ratios depending on the case mix. This travel position includes 36 hours per week, with lodging and meal stipends, and a total weekly pay around $1,351–$1,501.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months CST L&D experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• NBSTA certification must be active.
• DORA certification must be active.
• State license required if applicable.
• LDRP and postpartum experience preferred.
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide CST coverage on Labor & Delivery unit as part of the team.
• Assist with procedures including versions, C-sections and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with LDRN, RNs and PP RNs on night shifts.
• Maintain patient safety and aseptic technique during operations.
