Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ambulatory surgery center position with cataract experience highly preferred.

The role features a fast-paced setting and a day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with cross-training for multiple specialties including orthopedics and ophthalmology. Requirements include 1–2 years of experience, BLS certification, CST preferred, and active licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience required
• BLS certification required
• CST certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency in aseptic technique and sharps safety required
• Cataract experience highly preferred
• Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Fast-paced ambulatory surgery center setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) with variable shift hours
• Cross-trained support for Orthopedic, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, and Neuro Surgery cases
• Procedures include ACL reconstruction, arthroscopy, carpal tunnel release, fracture reductions, bunionectomy, metatarsal surgery, cataract extraction/implant, D&C, and laminectomy/discectomy
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a different rate
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot be added afterward
• PA fingerprint clearance required and must be completed promptly after contract signing
• Compliance labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
