Job summary

Tadano seeks a Technician/Crane Operator in Houston, TX to perform quality control inspections and functionality checks on Tadano equipment, conduct product orientation on and off site, and perform repairs as directed.

The role requires 3–5 years of crane experience, a valid driver’s license, forklift cert, TWIC, and ability to travel 75% of the time; NCCCO preferred. You will read schematics and train customers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience operating and maintaining machinery in an industrial crane environment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, forklift operator certification, and a TWIC card.
• Ability to read hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics; knowledge of rigging and hand signals.
• NCCCO Certification (TLL) preferred; extensive travel on the road.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections, functionality checks, and repairs per guidelines.
• Assist with loading legal loads onto trailers during collection.
• Conduct operator familiarization and demonstrations for customers nationwide.
• Ensure reporting procedures for time, quality, and expenses are followed.
• Provide technical direction to customers via phones/email when needed.
