HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a travel assignment in Waterville, Maine. The start date is 11/09/2026 and the assignment runs for 13 weeks with 35 guaranteed hours per week.

The role includes OT evaluations, developing and adjusting treatment plans, documenting in EHR, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a geriatric, skilled nursing setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,433 to $1,493.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed COTA certification (or eligible)
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• BLS certification preferred, state licensure eligibility required

Aufgaben

• Conduct OT evaluations and help develop individualized treatment plans for geriatric residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Implement and adjust therapy activities to promote independence in activities of daily living and mobility
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries per facility policies
• Collaborate with physical therapists, nursing staff, and the inter-disciplinary team to optimize resident outcomes
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs and strategies to support progress
• Monitor safety, use of adaptive equipment, and adherence to infection control procedures
