Job summary

Staff Today Inc. in Brentwood, TN seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment. Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week. Travel package includes hourly pay $20.28 plus lodging $882 and meals & incidental $378 weekly, totaling $1,990.08 weekly. Correctional setting with strong support and benefits.

Responsibilities include monitoring inmate health, supervising staff, coordinating with providers, and ensuring policy compliance. TN license and BLS required.

Qualifications

Current, valid TN RN license in good standing.
Minimum of one year of recent RN experience.
BLS certification through American Heart Association or equivalent.
Copy of PSV or licensing verification if required.
Immunization records, TB test, and other client-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

Monitor inmate health and medical conditions.
Supervise nursing and medical staff.
Coordinate with facility staff and external providers.
Ensure compliance with healthcare, correctional, and safety policies.
Review medical records for accuracy and appropriate services.
Monitor pharmacy use and controlled substances.
Provide health education and counseling.
Prepare required reports and incident documentation.
Support accreditation requirements (NCCHC/ACA/JCAHO).
