Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Active Kansas RN license or Compact RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current ACLS certification (required based on facility guidelines).
• Current PALS certification (may be required depending on patient population).
• TNCC or other emergency nursing certifications (a plus).
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and emergency-response skills.

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring urgent and emergency medical attention.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered.
• Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies and changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Assist with stabilization, treatment, transfer, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and facility protocols.
• Provide compassionate education and support to patients and their families.
