Job summary

Connected Health Care, LLC is seeking a Travel Emergency Room RN for a 13-week assignment in or near Hays, Kansas. The position offers a competitive weekly pay of up to $2,100, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced ED.

Key responsibilities include triage, direct patient care, collaboration with physicians, and precise ED documentation. Qualifications require a nursing degree (ADN/BSN), Kansas RN licensure eligibility, BLS and ACLS, and at least 1

Qualifications

ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
Active Kansas RN license or eligibility.
BLS certification.
ACLS certification.
Minimum 1 year of recent emergency department nursing experience.
Experience in a hospital ED setting.
Ability to assess and prioritize patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
Physical ability to stand, walk, lift and reposition patients.
Familiarity with EMR and ED documentation practices.

Responsibilities

Assess, triage, and prioritize ED patients based on acuity.
Provide nursing care including meds, treatments, monitoring, and reassessment.
Collaborate with physicians and teams to stabilize patients and coordinate care.
Respond to emergencies and high-acuity changes in patient condition.
Document assessments and care in the EMR and ensure accurate records.
