Job summary

Mechanical Systems & Service is seeking an experienced HVAC/R technician to cover the Jackson, MS area and parts of AL/LA. The role involves traveling to multiple sites to perform routine repairs, inspections, and system balancing to ensure compliance with plans.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial HVAC maintenance, EPA certification, and the ability to read schematics. A strong customer focus and safety discipline are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC components and systems.
• Ability to read electronic schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs to pump seals, bearings, etc.
• Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications.
• Determine customer concerns with HVAC and boiler systems.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Document faults, time and materials on work orders.
• Install and adjust components per manufacturer guidance.
