Job summary

The Frey Consulting Group is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in California to join our hospital team. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and support nursing staff.

Candidates must hold a California CNA license, current CPR, and be able to work both day and night shifts. This full-time position offers a stable team environment and opportunities to contribute to patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding)
• Experience assisting residents with daily activities and care tasks is a plus
• Able to work well with residents, families and long-term care staff

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities (bathing, dressing)
• Take vital signs and relay information to caregivers and nurses
• Observe skin integrity changes, assist with turning and transferring
• Maintain cleanliness in the resident care area and restock supplies

Additional Details about the position

• The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for assisting residents with their daily activities. This may include bathing and dressing, taking vital signs, collecting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, and providers. The CNA answers resident calls.They observe the resident for skin integrity changes, turn and reposition, and transfer residents to bed, chair, or wheelchair. The CNA maintain cleanliness in the resident care area changing sheets and restocking supplies as needed.

EXPERIENCE/Skill Set REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work under pressure and relate to resident, family, and long-term care staff.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending) to understand, plan, and carryout resident care plans and ADLs

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Current CPR

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT

• Current California License as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
