Job summary

LV Petroleum in IVOR, VA is seeking a Store Manager to lead a busy travel center. You will supervise daily operations, including fuel and food service, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer experience.

You will recruit, train and manage a full team, set performance expectations, and drive a culture of accountability. You will monitor budgeting, costs, and margins to achieve profitability while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Truck-Stop and QSR Operations.
• Working knowledge of Restaurant Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day site operations including retail fuel and food service, ensuring efficiency and adherence to cleanliness, safety, and customer experience standards.
• Lead, hire, train and develop a full team, including managers and hourly staff, building a culture of accountability and low turnover.
• Manage the financial performance of the site, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring key drivers like food, labor, shrink, waste, margins; adjust to meet profitability goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations, including food safety and age-restricted sales.
• Oversee inventory controls, audits, and vendor relationships for accurate deliveries, stock levels and efficient operations.
• Communicate with the team regularly to align on goals, performance expectations, safety, and site success, identifying opportunities for improvement.
