TravelCenters of America is seeking a Cook to join our restaurant team. You will prepare and present quality food, assist with daily kitchen tasks, and contribute to a positive guest experience across our travel centers.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable communication, and flexibility with shift scheduling, including nights, weekends, and some holidays. TA offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to be part of our team!
• Previous food service experience a plus
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays

Responsabilités

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service
• Perform prep cook tasks such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients.
• Perform grill cook tasks, set up broiler, fryer and grill stations and prepare products per guest requests
• Complete prep, freezer pull and temperature checklist sheets
• Practice safe food handling and storage and report unsafe situations
• Maintain equipment per operating standards
• Prioritize work according to restaurant and guest needs
• Build communication with leaders and co-workers
• Perform other duties as assigned
