Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse to join the Coronary Care Unit in Lewiston, Maine. The role involves direct patient care, staff collaboration, and ensuring regulatory compliance during day shifts on a 12-week contract.

Required are an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, plus CCU experience. A Behavioral Violence Prevention certificate within 6 months is expected. Pay ranges from $52 to $60 per hour with weekly pay and strong support from dedicated career specialists.

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN license.
Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire.
Current ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire.
Minimum of one year staff nurse experience in an acute care hospital; CCU experience required.
Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
