Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Days shifts, with pay ranging from $52.00 to $60.00 per hour, and weekly pay. The role supports high-quality patient care, staffing and operations in the Coronary Care Unit.

Requirements include an active RN license in the state, BLS and ACLS on hire, at least one year in acute/critical care, and BVP certification within 6 months of hire. Immediate opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year staff nurse in an acute care hospital; critical care setting required.
• BVP certificate within 6 months of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
• Ensures adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
• Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
