MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. This role requires the ability to assist in interventional procedures and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

The ideal candidate will have a current license in good standing and two years of cath lab experience, preferably in critical care. Travel housing and benefits are offered, with a 10-hour day shift and 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains high level of patient care through communication with patients, families and physicians.
• Works under the supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assists during procedures by operating ancillary equipment and preparing necessary inventory and medications.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Delivers cost-effective, professional patient care.
• Maintains a safe work environment focused on patient safety initiatives.
• Prepares and updates patient records accurately and legibly.
