Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Lexington, KY. You will prepare patients and equipment, assist physicians during cardiovascular procedures, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced lab.

This role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team. Eligible candidates have 1 year of Cath Lab experience and current BLS/ACLS/ARRT certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent Cath Lab experience
• Current BLS, ACLS and radiology certifications
• ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons and stents
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors and hemodynamic monitors
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field per infection control protocols
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging data and equipment logs
• Assist with inventory management and storage of sterile supplies
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and dosimetry requirements
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
