Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 10-week travel assignment in Pikeville, Kentucky. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure.

Qualifications

One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
Operate imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
Scrub in and maintain sterile field; ensure infection control and procedural protocols.

Skills

One year’s experience as Cath Lab Tech

BLS (AHA/ARC) certification

ARRT/RCES/RCIS certification

ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Education

Radiologic Technologist license

PALS or ENPC certification
