Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Lexington, KY. The role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab, preparing patients and equipment, and assisting physicians during cases.

The position requires one year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification; ACLS. Travel benefits include day-one insurance, 401(k) matching, and a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Preferred Radiologic Technologist license per state regulations.
• PALS or ENPC certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, stents and operating fluoroscopy equipment.
• Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment and maintain sterile technique.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; ensure infection control and procedural protocols.
• Document patient records and equipment logs; assist with supplies and inventory.
