Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in South Bend, Indiana. The role includes scrubbing, monitoring, and assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

Requires 1 year of experience; BLS/ACLS and ARRT (R) or CCI-RCIS preferred; state licensing may be required. Expect to scrub and assist during procedures, operate lab equipment, and maintain patient safety, with travel and weekly schedule underpinning the

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Cath Lab
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R)-CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification
• State licensing may be required for assignment

Responsibilities

• Prepare cardiac lab procedure rooms and ensure stock and sterilization
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures
• Operate and ensure quality control of all lab equipment
• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician
• Record hemodynamic, electrical and angiographic data
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures
• Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and CPR
