Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 14-week assignment in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The role focuses on cardiac catheterization procedures, scrubbing and assisting during interventional cases.

Applicants must have 1 year Cath Lab experience, ARRT(R) CI or RCIS, BLS and ACLS, and state licensing where required. Pays for 10-hour days with travel benefits and tax-free stipends TBD.

Qualifications

• 1 year Cath Lab experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification, and state licensing when required.
• ARRT, BLS, ACLS, ARRT (VI), CCI (RCIS) certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab rooms with stock and equipment, ensuring sterility.
• Prepare patient/equipment for procedures, drape patient, set up catheters.
• Operate and QC all lab equipment used in the cath lab.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician with catheter maneuvers.
• Record hemodynamic data using hemodynamic/electrical equipment.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures.
• Assist in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and CPR.
