Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Cincinnati, OH. The role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab, including patient preparation, equipment operation, and teamwork to ensure patient safety.

Start ASAP with 40 hours/week and days shift. Required: 1 year Cath Lab tech experience, BLS, ACLS, RCIS/RCES/ARRT, and Ohio-related licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operating fluoroscopy.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup, ensuring infection control and protocol adherence.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis using manual compression or closure devices.
• Maintain accurate documentation and equipment logs.
