Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, and ARRT (R) or CCI‑RCIS certification where required.

The technologist will scrub, monitor, and assist with interventional cardiac procedures, including catheterizations and other vascular work. Schedule is 40 hours weekly, with a 10‑hour day shift, for travel assignments across the Cincinnati area.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience or closely related setting.
• BLS, ACLS required; ARRT (R) or CCI-RCIS certification preferred.
• State licensing as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab rooms, ensure stock and sterility, and calibrate equipment.
• Set up patient and equipment for procedures, drape patient, and position entry site.
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic and fluoroscopy equipment during procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in and maneuvering catheters.
• Record hemodynamic and angiographic data using appropriate devices.
• Monitor patient during procedures and participate in lifesaving measures when needed.
