Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lima, OH. You will prepare patients, assist during procedures, operate imaging and monitoring equipment, and ensure safety throughout the process in a busy cath lab.

The role requires one year of Cath Lab experience and current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS certifications. License validation and regulatory compliance are valued; strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• One year's recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup, ensuring adherence to infection control and protocols.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed.
• Maintain accurate documentation including patient records and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
