Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in McAllen, TX. You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients, and ensure safety in a fast-paced cardiac lab environment.

The role requires 1 year of cath lab experience, current BLS/ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications; a radiologic technologist license is preferred. Travel benefits and competitive pay are included.

Formación

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Preferred: Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup; adhere to infection control protocols.
• Maintain documentation, including patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies; ensure proper storage of sterile instruments.

Educación

BLS (AHA/ARC) certification

ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification

ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

One year experience as Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Radiologic Technologist license (preferred)
