Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in San Marcos, TX. The role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab, with responsibilities including patient prep, equipment handling, and collaboration with physicians.

The ideal candidate holds one year of Cath Lab experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, BLS and ACLS, and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and communication

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
• Strong English communication required
• Ability to read and follow instructions precisely
• Manual dexterity and ability to handle equipment and wires
• Team-based care in high-pressure environments

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment and monitoring systems
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field per protocols
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment usage
• Assist with inventory and supply management to ensure readiness
