Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Baltimore, MD. This position involves preparing patients, assisting in interventional cardiovascular procedures, and ensuring patient safety with imaging equipment and sterile technique.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; adhere to infection control standards.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and wear dosimeters; ensure regulatory compliance.
