Job summary

The Cath Lab Technologist will join Fusion Medical Staffing for a 13-week travel assignment in Rockville, Maryland. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, monitor hemodynamic data, and ensure patient safety.

This role requires technical expertise, clinical collaboration, and the ability to work under pressure. Candidates should have active Cath Lab credentials, ARRT/RCIS/RCES, ACLS, BLS, and at least one year of Cath Lab

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment and monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup.
• Maintain accurate documentation and logs.
