Travel Cath Lab Technologist – Baltimore, MD

Role Overview: Fusion Medical Staffing engages a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment beginning 07/13/2026. The position requires 40 hours per week in 8‑hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Valid Radiologic Technologist license compliant with state regulations (preferred)
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certifications (preferred)
• Additional certifications/licenses as required

Essential Work Functions

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies, and other interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operating fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Perform sheath removal and achieve hemostasis using manual compression or closure devices.
• Maintain accurate documentation – patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure proper storage of sterile instruments and medications.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols, using lead aprons, shields, and dosimeters.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of practice.
