• Proficiency with surgery/C-arm procedures, scrubbing, PACS, and fluoroscopy studies.
• Experience with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, and peripheral vascular studies.
• Ability to work with adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac cath lab, EP, and structural heart interventions as assigned.
• Set up equipment, place EKG leads, prep access sites, maintain sterile field.
• Assist with device implants and post-procedure care.
• Document procedures and manage imaging and fluoroscopy records.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of Cath Lab, Structural Heart, and EP experience for a day-shift assignment.

Details

• Cardiac cath lab with 3 procedure rooms and 1 dedicated EP lab, plus 1 hybrid OR
• Caseload of 3 cases per room
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Procedures include cardiac cath and intervention, structural heart (TAVR/Mitraclip/Watchman), peripheral vascular angiography and intervention, EP ablations, and device implants
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
• On-call required 6-8 days per month (4-5 weekdays and 1 weekend)
• Uses Epic EMR
• Allscripts charting experience preferred

Requirements

• Perform cardiac catheterization, structural heart interventions, peripheral vascular angiography/intervention, EP ablations, and device implants
• Responsibilities include equipment set up, EKG lead placement, access site prep, maintaining sterile field, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Scrubs provided
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
• Return staff reviewed on a case-by-case basis
• RTO must be submitted prior to start of contract
