Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with structural heart experience for a cardiac cath lab position requiring ARRT certification and a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based cardiac cath lab with 3 procedure rooms and 1 dedicated EP lab
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Average caseload of 3 cases per room
• Procedures include cardiac catheterization and intervention, structural heart (TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman), peripheral vascular angiography and intervention, EP ablations, and device implants
• Uses C-arm, PACS system, and fluoroscopy equipment
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call required approximately 6–8 days per month, consisting of 4–5 weekdays and 1 weekend day per month

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cath lab, structural heart, and EP procedures
• Structural heart experience is required
• Current BLS, ARRT certification, and Fluoroscopy Permit required
• Proficiency with surgery/C-arm procedures, scrubbing, PACS, fluoroscopy studies, stents, angioplasty, angiograms, and peripheral upper/lower extremity vascular and venous studies
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
