Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in Cath Lab.
• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology preferred.
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required in state of practice.
• ARRT certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification required.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required.
• PVMB, TEAM, TEAM-A, or CPI certification required.
• Cerner and Epic experience must be noted if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs active radiographic interventional procedures using complex cardiovascular equipment.
• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to produce contrast-enhanced angiocardiograms during cardiac catheterization.
• Positions and immobilizes patients using specified protocols and safety equipment.
• Assists physicians with specialized cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Models, mentors, and trains staff on technical skills.
• Provides input into hiring and promotion decisions for staff.
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions.
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with at least 3 years of specialty experience and required Fluoroscopy certification.

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit performing cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations
• Role similar to an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Variable shift options including 7am-5:30pm, 8am-6:30pm, or 9am-7:30pm
• Call requirements include after-hours coverage, every other weekend, and 2 weeknights per week

Requirements
