Job summary

American Traveler is recruiting a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a contract position in Portland, Oregon. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab and proficiency in Electrophysiology (EP) and Epic EMR.

Candidates will work 4x10 hour day shifts with no on-call requirements and must be willing to float between facilities. Comprehensive references and licensure in Oregon or application for it are necessary.

Scrubs are provided and there are no parking fees at the facility. Pay package details will be confirmed based on 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
• Active CCI RCIS or ARRT certification with Oregon licensure.
• Candidates must have EP experience and Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a Cath Lab with a 1:1 patient ratio.
• Travel between facilities within Oregon as needed.
• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Details

• Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 beds
• Cath Lab unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• EP experience is a key component of this role
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements
• Charting in Epic (experience required)
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience
• Active CCI RCIS or ARRT certification with Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) licensure; candidates with an active Radiology Technologist license from another state who have applied or will apply for Oregon OBMI licensure may also be considered
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• No parking fee at this facility
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive RTO requests may impact candidacy
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
