American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for an assignment in Portland, Oregon.

Assignment Overview

• Shift: 10 hours, days (4x10 hour days, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
• Hours: 40 hours per week (40 hrs/week)
• Start Date: 04/27/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Employment Type: Travel

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a Cardiovascular Tech (CV Tech) unit
• Level I Trauma, Magnet‑designated academic teaching hospital with 554 staffed beds
• Candidate must have experience in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience; scrub experience across all service lines (Cardiac, Neuro, etc.) will also be considered
• Charting performed in Epic
• On‑call requirement approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3 to 4 weeks
• Floating within the facility and across the health system is expected; refusal to float may result in contract cancellation
• Local candidates are welcome to apply
• 13‑week minimum contract length

Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, and RCIS certifications required
• Oregon state license (OBMI) required if applicable
• Scrub experience in Cath Lab, Angio, and/or other service lines such as Cardiac and Neuro
• COVID vaccination required — no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided for this position
• Parking is free in any unrestricted space
• All required education assigned by the facility must be completed within one week of starting the assignment
• No RTO permitted during the first 2 weeks of the assignment; maximum of 7 days of RTO for the contract
• Mandatory low‑census cancellations may occur up to one shift per two‑week pay period; cancellations must be called no later than 1.5 hours before shift start
• At least one reference is required for consideration
