Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Mesquite, TX. The role involves preparing patients and equipment for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, assisting physicians, and maintaining imaging and hemodynamic monitoring systems in a high-pressure cath lab environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience, current BLS and ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate imaging equipment.
• Maintain imaging and hemodynamic monitoring systems; ensure sterile technique.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup; adhere to infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
