Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Mount Vernon, WA. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring safety under high-pressure conditions.

The position requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications, with preferred radiologic licensure and ENPC/PALS qualifications.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Valid Radiologic Technologist license in the state regulations
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications may be required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents
• Operate imaging equipment, fluoroscopy, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; adhere to infection control protocols
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and storage of sterile instruments and medications
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
