Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Kennewick, Washington. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced cath lab.

Ideal candidates have one year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES credentials, with a preferred radiologic technologist license.

Qualifications

• One year recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate imaging and monitoring equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup per infection control and procedural guidelines.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed.
• Maintain accurate documentation for patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and storing sterile instruments and medications.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
