Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 6-week travel assignment in Kennewick, WA. The role entails preparing patients, assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, and ensuring patient safety with state-of-the-art imaging equipment.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, with preference for a WA radiologic technologist license and additional PALS/ENPC certifications.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Valid Radiologic Technologist license in WA (preferred)
• PALS or ENPC certifications (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents
• Operate imaging equipment, fluoroscopy, and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; ensure infection control
• Document patient records and equipment logs accurately
• Assist with inventory and stocking of sterile supplies and medications
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies
