Job summary

The Cath Lab Technologist is sought for a 13-week travel assignment in Mount Vernon, WA. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, monitoring hemodynamics, and aiding physicians during procedures with a focus on patient safety and teamwork.

Requires one year of Cath Lab experience and current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications. Additional licenses or PALS/ENPC may be preferred.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Preferred: Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations
• PALS or ENPC certifications may be required
• Other certifications and licenses may be required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents
• Operate imaging equipment and monitoring systems
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed
• Maintain accurate documentation and equipment logs
• Assist with inventory management and sterile supplies
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
