Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Rapid City, SD. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, patient preparation, and equipment operation in a high-pressure lab environment.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related interventional procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents and operating fluoroscopy
• Operate and maintain imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup and infection control
• Maintain accurate documentation and equipment logs
• Assist with inventory management and ensure proper storage of instruments and medications
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies
