Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 16-week assignment in Englewood, FL. The role involves preparing patients and equipment for cardiac procedures, assisting physicians, and maintaining sterile technique in a high-pressure cath lab environment.

The ideal candidate has a year of cath lab experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES, BLS and ACLS certifications. Travel pay, comprehensive benefits, and clinician support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operating imaging and monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and support sterile field setup and infection control per protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure proper storage of sterile instruments.
